Compatibility and cross-platform support
AutoCAD is available in Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux. AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD LT for Windows and AutoCAD LT for OS X are intended for smaller organizations with less technical sophistication. The three versions differ in the number of features, the AutoLISP language used, the number of layers, and the user interface. # Set up Autocad
After finishing the installation, you will need to activate the program.
Open the control panel > Apps tab. Select Autocad > Autocad 2D > Autocad > Architecture and click the Plus button.
At the bottom of the window, select Set Default from the menu and click the Finish button to set the settings as default.
When you are done using the program, exit the program and close it completely. This is required to prevent other people from using your keys.
Go to Run > regedit.exe > HKLM > Software > Autodesk > Autocad > Architecture.

I’m a developer for a small (and thus a bit naive) startup company. Most of our code is to be included in a commercial product, and I must be prepared for the worst.
